Jil Cappuccio and pearl clothing want to let you know we are starting a new store together in January 2012. We are calling it Sewn. Visit us on our facebook page for photos, events, and fun. We will announce the opening date soon. Look for us in January!
We’ve been working side by side for about four years. Opening in January 2012, we will be taking over the Fancy Tiger Clothing store space at 18 South Broadway.
The store will carry our one of a kind clothing lines as well as pulling together other designers who have put their attention on quality craft.
We are a like-minded pair. In the past few years we have both had our sewing project patterns published in Stitch magazine, won Best Of Awards from Westword, and started Indie Wearable Craft, a bi-annual event showcasing a small hand selected group of local designers who make clothing, jewelry, hand bags, as well as other wearable goods.
Coming together and selling our clothing lines in one space works perfectly. Our customers appreciate what we make, and the look it creates when combined together. We will also carry vintage cowboy boots, jewelry, belts and other accessories to complete your entire look.
Sewn, with its emphasis on hand made, will also carry things for the home and other sewn goods.
